Boston Children’s Hospital ranked #1, scoring a perfect 100. The other top 5 included Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
The ranking evaluated 110 U.S. children’s hospitals by examining its reputation with specialists, quality of diabetes management programs, nurse-to-patient ratio, volume of diabetes-centered patients, and efforts to prevent infection.
