The cranberry juice adds just a bit of tartness to this satisfying warm drink. Easy to prepare; Low fat; Low sodium
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • ¾ cup cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 whole cinnamon stick
  • ¼ teaspoon whole cloves
  • 4 lemon slices
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and heat to boiling over high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Remove cinnamon sticks and cloves from cider.
  4. Serve ½ cup per person and top with lemon slice.
